Jean Marie Fisher-Cannon

Jean Marie Fisher-Cannon, 73, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, Sept. 9, 2024.

Born June 14, 1951 in Franklin, she was the daughter of Harold Leroy and Barbara Jean (Mayville) Fisher.

She was a 1969 graduate of Ben Davis High School, Ivy Tech, and served a five-year apprenticeship with Local 440.

Jean was the first female licensed master plumber in Indiana, working out of Local 440. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, Legion of Mary and the Master Gardeners Club.

Jean is survived by husband John Cannon; son Scott C. (wife Lisa) Adkins; daughter Jeannette (David) Little; brother Steve (wife Candie) Fisher; and grandchildren Dyson Adkins, Ashlyn Adkins, Allison Schilling, Hannah Schilling, Ryan Kehrt and Tyler Kehrt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Danny Fisher and husband John Dreihs.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle. Interment will follow at the Stilesville Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
