Reelsville man arrested for online solicitation of a minor

REELSVILLE — A 36-year-old man was arrested Friday for online solicitation of a minor.

Kevin Thacker of Reelsville was taken into custody at 1:15 p.m. by Trooper James Crisp and Det. Colton Maynor of the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post.

ISP detectives had been contacted by the Keller Police Department in Tarrant County, Texas, regarding active warrants for Thacker’s arrest.

Crisp and Maynor located him at a Reelsville residence and took him into custody without incident. Deputies from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

Tacker’s charges include four counts of Level 3 felony online solicitation and Class A misdemeanor distribution or display of harmful material to a minor.

He was lodge at the Putnam County, where he is awaiting extradition to Texas.
