She Said Yes!

The 100 or so people gathered at the Hazel Day Longden Theater Friday evening get a surprise shortly before the Putnam County Playhouse production of "Flowers for Algernon" with Brandon Wunderlich proposing to Ashton Kirton on stage. It was a fitting setting for a couple that is quite active both onstage and backstage at the PCPH. Brandon has served as stage manager of all four PCPH productions in 2024, as well as acting in "The Pink Panther Strikes Again." Ashton, meanwhile, has been in each musical over the last two years at the Playhouse, including "Oklahoma!" and "Something Rotten" this season.
