DePauw Nature Park 20th anniversary celebration set Saturday

The DePauw Nature Park will celebrate its 20th anniversary at 11 a. m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The park first opened to the public in September 2004 and has since been valuable asset to the university and the local community and has also been visited by people from throughout West Central Indiana and beyond.

The event will feature a short program with several speakers and staff will be on hand to answer questions about the park and make suggestions for hiking and exploration.

Festivities will take place at the Ian and Mimi Rolland Welcome and Activities Center. Attendees should use the main entrance and parking lot off of West Walnut Street.
