Karen Petite

Karen Petite, 60, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024.

Born Sept. 20, 1964 in New York, she was the daughter of Michael A. and Geraldine (Respole) Petite.

Karen had recently worked in home health care. She had previously worked as a house manager with Putnam County Comprehensive Services, Chyoda, IAC and several years as an executive vice president in auto finance at Wachovia Financial.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joyce Kubala.

Karen is survived by her companion, Michael “Mike” Simpson, and siblings Roseann Wyman, Michael Petite, Marie Petite and Debra Innerarity.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Karen to the SPCA.
