Coats for Kids to distribute at Community Connect

Now under the umbrella of Phil the Need, the annual Coats for Kids distribution will take place at Greencastle Christian Church on Saturday, Oct. 26 as part of the Community Connect event.

Phil the Need has partnered with local businesses, organizations and citizens to collect more than 600 new and gently-used coats for children and teens.

Community Connect attendees should bring their children with them for sizing. However, if children aren’t able to make it, organizers can take the information and get coats to them. 

Hats and gloves will be available as well.

Community Connect is set to last from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the church, 620 Primrose Ct.
