Lane closures to impact U.S. 36 near Morton

MORTON -- Lane closures that will impact U.S. 36 near Morton have been announced by the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Beginning on or after Monday, Oct. 28, crews will be reducing U.S. 36 between County Road 600 West and County Road 775 West down to one lane.

During construction, crews will be doing grade work and clearing trees. A temporary traffic signal will be in place to control traffic during this time.

Work is expected to last until early December but is weather-dependent and subject to change, INDOT said.
