Road closure to impact State Road 42 near Monrovia beginning Nov. 4

LITTLE POINT - A temporary road closure has been announced for State Road 42, located between Little Point and Crown Center in Morgan County.

Beginning on or after Monday, Nov. 4, the Indiana Department of Transportation said crews will be closing SR 42 between Little Point Road (County Road 1100 West) and Wellman Road (CR 875 W).

Purpose of the closure is to allow crews to safely complete structure installations and asphalt patching.

Work is expected to last until early December but is weather-dependent and subject to change.

The official detour around the project is SR 42 to SR 39 to SR 142 to SR 42.
