New Hope Fellowship hosting annual Basket Auction and chili cook-off

New Hope Fellowship is hosting its annual basket auction this Saturday, Nov. 2 and this year will be adding something delicious for attendees. A chili cook-off will be taking place for those wanting to test their cooking skills.

Prizes will be given for first, second and third places for the best chili.

The cook-off and basket auction will be held at New Hope Fellowship which is located at 2450 U.S. 231 North in Greencastle with the cook-off starting at 5 p.m.

The basket auction will provide money for the Christmas store that the fellowship has every year. The Christmas store is where parents in need living in Putnam County can shop for free for their children.

The Christmas Store shopping day is Friday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m.-noon and also from 4-7 p.m. The application deadline for those applying to shop is Dec. 1.

Applications and donations to the Christmas Store are being accepted now on the church’s website, newhopegc.org.
